This is Our Story

The 1% Girls was never just about content.
It was about calling, conviction, and community.

It began with two women whose stories look different on the surface—but are rooted in the same fire.

Nicole’s Story

Nicole was raised by a strong, resilient single mother who showed her early on what determination really looks like. From a young age, Nicole gravitated toward storytelling—picking up a camera, creating YouTube videos, and experimenting with videography long before it was “cool” or strategic.

In high school, she became Editor-in-Chief of her yearbook, leading teams, shaping narratives, and learning how powerful visual storytelling could be. That passion followed her into college, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, sharpening both her creative instincts and strategic mindset.

Nicole didn’t just love content—she understood how it moves people.

Carla’s Story

Carla is the daughter of two immigrant parents. Her father came to the United States on a raft in the 90s, chasing the possibility of a better life—instilling in her a work ethic rooted in sacrifice, faith, and gratitude.

Creativity was always her refuge. Poetry. Writing. Storytelling. Expression.

Like Nicole, Carla also became Editor-in-Chief of her high school yearbook, later earning the prestigious Silver Knight Award in Journalism, and went on to receive her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing & Business Administration. She learned how to merge emotion with execution—heart with strategy.

Where words met structure, Carla found her voice.

Where It All Came Together

Between the two of us, we have 4+ years each in the marketing industry, working with brands, creators, and businesses across industries. And yet—we kept seeing the same gap.

There were courses teaching tactics.
There were programs teaching “how to grow.”
But there was nothing built exclusively for women—for women who wanted to step fully into their power, build personal and professional brands, and do it without shrinking, competing, or burning out.

So we built what we wished existed.

At the core of everything we do is faith.

As Christian women, we believe our gifts are meant to be used for something greater than ourselves. That’s why 10% of every course sale is donated to a women’s charity, supporting women who need resources, opportunity, and hope.
